Bougakure no Sato - 夢隠れの里 - Village Hidden in Dreams SHINOBI: Yes MAKE CHARACTER: No LEADER: Gyakuten Keizo (NPC - MALE - ELDERLY) COUNTRY: 闇の国 - Yami no Kuni - Land of Darkness LOCATION: North-East on Konoha Peninsula KNOWN FOR: Bringing the dead back to life.
DESCRIPTION: The residents of Bougakure are not real people, rather they are earth-bound human souls of a destroyed city that stood in it's now darkened place. As such visitors to the land of Darkness must enter a state of sleep at the entrance for those in the waking world cannot not enter the village. Life in the village goes on perpetually as the deceased residents never age or change, though they are governed by the same Clan as their previously living counterparts; the Gyakuten.
The Gyakuten Clan were once valued for the fact they could reanimate humans with the proper soul, but after the destruction of their city the living must meet specific requirements for this privilege. Living who enter the village without meeting the correct requirements will never under any circumstances regain consciousness nor will they exist in Bougakure. The soul will disintegrate upon entrance and the body will be left defenseless.
ENVIRONMENT: The Land of Darkness is a pitch-black area; surrounded completely by trees on it's Hi no Kuni side and by curving in mountains on it's ocean sides. There is little to no plant-life, only fog, dust and ruins of cities past. The Bougakure in the waking world is nothing but a plaque informing the living of their requirements while the village in the sleeping world is a bright and beautiful place. It is so perfect that the living will enter a state of mind known as the "uncanny valley" if they remain too long.
EXTRA: The requirements for revival are as follows:- Must have body of deceased.
- Must have living sacrifice. (No NPCs! You must find a real character, and not one of your own.)
- Each character will only be revived once. (Meaning you get one second chance, that's all.)
- If you are reviving a character that is not your own, you must get the creator's approval.
- 2 Characters will be revived a month. (First come First served.)
- Everyone accompanying your character must enter a sleeping state.
- Your body is open for anyone to find until the ritual is over, there is nowhere to hide yourself as everyone must be touching the plaque to enter.

Ketsugakure no Sato - 血隠れの里 - Village Hidden in Blood SHINOBI: Yes MAKE CHARACTER: Yes LEADER: Heigou Ran (LINK) COUNTRY: 骨の国 - Hone no Kuni - Land of Bones LOCATION: West to the Country of Rice KNOWN FOR: Citizens are all Nukenin
DESCRIPTION: Ketsugakure was created fifty years ago by four Nukenin and their followers. It's aim was create a village not guided by specific laws but by the people and the passions that drive them. Though after staging a coup d'état only one leader remains running the village as more of a lawless totalitarian society. Violence is tolerable by any measure against any citizen except that of the leader or anyone they deem "protected", the penalty of which is partial dismemberment and stranding in the wilderness.
Anyone wishing entry that is not already a citizen is escorted to the leader's office where they are subjected to a background check, and to a session in which a task will be given to them. If the background check clears, and the task is completed citizenship is then confirmed. No citizen under any circumstances is to bring an unauthorized person(s) into the village without seeing the leader first, if disregarded the penalty of which is chosen by the leader.
Currently Tetsugakure is gaining notoriety as having genetic experimentation among it's citizens, and it's motives are subjective.
ENVIRONMENT: An endless desert with red sand and a chemical in the water that turns it a slight crimson color, it should be no surprise why the village is known as the village hidden in blood. It's country's name the Land of Bones is called such because if it's repeated landscape that causes visitors to become easily lost, littering the ground with those who have perished. Rather than palm trees which typically grow in deserts, flowers especially that of roses, birds of paradise, ivy, and lotus grow naturally. The climate is calm with moderate temperatures and little rainfall, leading the citizens to dig down for natural springs. Buildings are typically made of shiny black or crimson-red jasper, ruby, or hematite gemstones.
EXTRA: All Nukenin wishing to join Ketsugakure IC must meet with the leader and be given a task to complete. It is at the leader's discretion what the task will be and could range from fetching tea, kidnapping, murder, to dancing with a doughnut.

Kougakure no Sato - 光隠れの里 - Village Hidden in Light SHINOBI: No MAKE CHARACTER: Yes LEADER: OPEN (LINK) COUNTRY: 金剛の国 - Kougou no Kuni - Land of Diamonds LOCATION: North-East to the Country of Rain KNOWN FOR: Chakra-producing Diamonds
DESCRIPTION: Kougakure is a rich civilian nation protected by the good shinobi nations because of their special diamonds. The Diamonds which can only be cultivated and excavated by Kougakure's citizens are extremely valuable for the fact they produce huge amounts of chakra surpassing that of even the strongest humans. The smallest of diamonds can provide electricity for years , and power machines as well as keep puppets going without having to drain the user.
All Kougakure citizens enjoy a lavish lifestyle, with no poverty whatsoever as the people are kind aswell as giving. Though their diamonds is what has put them in such a comfortable lifestyle, they could easily give them away but because of growing Nukenin interest Kougakure has set up a system that only allows those associated with good villages to trade for them.
ENVIRONMENT: The entirety of Kougakure is made with diamonds and crystal, having used machines powered with their own diamonds to carve homes out of the gemstone. The village glitters in light be it sunshine or moon beams, hence it's name as the Village hidden in Light. It is a highly advanced society with citizens quite dependent on the electricity generated from their diamonds, making it by default the epicenter for activities such as movies, music, and vehicles.
EXTRA: As a citizen of Kougakure you may enter any (Good) village safely, and stay for however long you please.

Tetsugakure no Sato - 鉄隠れの里 - Village Hidden in Iron SHINOBI: Yes MAKE CHARACTER: Yes LEADER: OPEN (LINK) COUNTRY: 錆の国 - Sabi no Kuni - Land of Rust LOCATION: West to the Country of Wind KNOWN FOR: Equipment Creation
DESCRIPTION: Known just as much for their surly attitude towards visitors as for unique equipment creation, Tetsugakure is a village on the evil end of spectrum. Though they are not supportive of Nukenin like that of their aligned Ketsugakure, Tetsugakure hates other countries and desires nothing other than power for themselves. The village works with Ketsugakure out of necessity to have an ally in the world though both would easily turn the other inside out for their own pride.
The greatest of puppet, weapon, and invention geniuses have come from Tetsugakure because of their abundance in metal and long tradition in it's teachings. Metal from the Land of Rust is special in that there are many kinds that absorb chakra from opponents, and contrary to the name take hundreds of years to rust or deform. They stand up to the elements of fire and weather much greater than that of other metals, making them very valuable aswell as useful.
ENVIRONMENT: In the Land of Rust everything is nearly made of some sort of natural metal be it in powder or liquid form. It's climate is extremely hot with numbers of underground volcanoes that help in creating weapons, and heat area of the ground-level metal into pools of dangerous molten metal. There are literally streams of silver and black liquid running through the country, with the village being the only area safe from these dangerous metal liquids. Steam shoots up from cracked craters and it is not a country of beauty though the citizens think otherwise as they know nothing else.
Most foliage has been killed by the heat of the volcanoes and liquid metal though they are able to maintain a moderate pasture of land where they grow crabgrass to feed livestock. Their name as the Land of Rust comes from natural structures in the landscape of metal blocks that have been eroded by the heat to have a spongy-appearance similar to that of Rust. There is technically no rust in the country as their metal is too durable for such, rather their name is based on looks.
EXTRA: Not all citizens of Tetsugakure are evil, there are quite a number of good citizens though they are overshadowed by the bad ones. Being that they are aligned with Ketsugakure shinobi are to put in an effort to support them, but the underlying message within the village is not to put yourself in danger for a foreign land.
